Apple Aperture 3 4 4 – Post Production Photography Solution
You’ll find a way to keep Aperture alive … maybe for a lot longer.
Apple’s Aperture 3 software has come a long way since it was first introduced about five years ago. At the time, professional photographers flocked to the application—Apple’s first foray into pro still photography was innovative and, along with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom (which was announced shortly thereafter) created a new category of imaging software.
Apr 17, 2013 This is no longer the case in Aperture 3.4.4, says Apple. Some users reported issues that prevented images captured from a tethered camera from being written to disk on OS X Lion v10.7.5. May 24, 2012 What's New in Aperture 3.2.4. Improves stability on Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Addresses an issue that could prevent the Viewer from updating correctly after editing a photo using an external editor. Included in Aperture 3.2. Addresses compatibility with iCloud and iOS 5. Obviously the first thing that you'll want to do when using Aperture is to import some images. This can be done either from a folder on your hard drive, or directly from an attached memory card/camera. After clicking 'Import', you can select both the source of the images, and the Project into which you'd like to import them.
The solution is to convert the RAW files of your new camera to adobe .DNG and as already know Aperture supports the .DNG files
adobe has a free application to convert unprocessed text files that have not been proposed .DNG, a lighter format without loss of quality. adobe is committed to sustain this format over time, trust, photographers, brands, rights, business, graphic media, this point is the incentive to believe that any camera can convert its Raw into .DNG and be edited in Aperture that supports .DNG
Here is the download link of Adobe DNG Converter 11.2.1
